MERENDE
-For this project we were asked to create a print of a fake company and. Concentrating on Illistrator anyhow to utilize our skills. When seeing this project I imidenty thought about my siblings. Growing up in an Italian American household you quickly learn that you and your siblings are best friends. You fight of course, but you can collaborate even more. For a while we have always thought about opening up a cannoli shop together. Something that something so much to us. We wanted to share the treats we create to everyone. Cannoli, the perfect company!
The next task was to find a name. this mean that I had to look inside and see why these treats meant so much to me. After creating some word charts one name stuck out from the rest. Merende. This is an Italian word that means late afternoon snack. something that is not too sweet, not too savory, but satisfies that hunger till dinner.
